Carmilla- Carmilla is the vampire queen who
sent Meier and Charlotte the invitation to her castle, and to the City of the
Night. She also hired the Barborois to protect the couple on their way to the
castle. What we see to begin with is not her true form. In reality she was killed
by the Vampire King, D’s own father, because of her bloodlust. Her spirit now wanders through the
halls of her massive castle. Her powers include the ability to cast illusions
to trick her prey, usually at the cost of their lives, as a form of entertainment.
Of course, now she wants to return
to life to resume her wave of terror…. |
