Synopsis+

D is hired to return a young woman named Charlotte from the hold of a mysterious vampire lord named Meier Link. His competition are the renowned Markus Brothers who will stop at nothing to bring the girl back themselves. Too bad she doesn’t WANT to go back. Meier, in the meantime, has hired the protection of the Barborois, a legion of cunning demon bodyguards, to keep Charlotte with him until the duo can reach the famed castle of the brutal vampire queen Carmilla and onward to the City of the Night…

My review+

Personally this anime is one of the best I’ve seen. The animation is fantastic, the characters are interesting, well designed and well played. The music is rather good, if I had money I’d probably get the OST, but alas, I’m poor college folk.

Although I liked the first movie, simply titled Vampire Hunter D, I thought this one was much much better.
